they won’t have the capital kill peeta, because if they did everyone would have a fit I know i would be happy. i hope katniss relizes that gale is the one for her. i hope that likeit is a competition between gale and peeta and gale wins.I REALLY WANT KATNISS TO KILL PRESIDENT SNOW, BUT IWANT HAYMITCH TO BEAT HIM UP TOO.

Knowing the ways of the capitol i think they’ll let him live-for a while. Long enough for Katniss to rescue him.
I have no doubt that Peeta will live

The Peeta-Katniss fans will have a riot when that happens.

Although I want it to be a happy ending, I do want it to be somewhat believable, and in uprisings there are casualties. First, I agree with everyone so far. But I’d like to add something into the conversation. Peeta, is so absolutely smooth with his ability to say just the right thing, even under difficult moments, so I’m curious to see what Collins will make of this unique quality of Peeta. As for Gale, I would think that Collins would have developed his character by now, since there is only one book left. Why wait till the last book? If anything, I’d like to see Gale with Madge. Why, I don’t know, but that is what I’d like to see.

Hmmmm…. I don’t really think Peeta will die, but, he might. I agree that he will probably be tortured for information he doesn’t have. I also think that Katniss will go looking for him. This would be a great time to see what Gale REALLY feels about Katniss….. Go Gale! Don’t get me wrong, I love Peeta too, but I wanna see some competition between the two! So far is just been Gale PEETA PEETA PEETA PEETA Gale PEETA PEETA PEETA PEETA PEETA PEETA PEETA Gale. You get the point.

everyone is commenting on the obvious & which from the last 2 books, proves u shouldn’d…
i think there might b a possibility that Peeta might actually die, maybe not in the Capitol itself, but maybe somewhere else…it could even be Gale…but he doesn’t seem like that type of caracter, he’ll get injured & injured but still survives, one thing i’m really hoping for though is that Katniss gets 2 kill president Snow herself.
but that’s what i think…

i think that the capitol as, like Haymitch said, put him under questoning for knowledge in the catastrophy that went on in the games. and when he said he didnt know they tortured him, so like the 3rd book will like be about how Katniss has to stay in hiding from the Capitol while trying to save peeta. but i saw something that Suzanne Collins said that Katniss like wants to know where she is…… it was an interview and someone asked if the could have a map of Panhem and she said no cuz not even KAtniss knows what PAnhem looks like and that in the 3rd one she relizes that she doesnt and needs to…. i know kinda confuzzling but there u go!!

I really hope Peeta lives. I love Peeta, he is so kind and understanding and, in my mind, HOT! But Gale seems too moody and I just don’t like him as much. But I would hate for either of them to die, because that’s just mean.

I don’t think Peeta will die. That seems way too easy for Collins. If he dies there will no longer be the Gale and Peeta conflict. Snow will use Peeta as a pawn to lure Katniss in so he can kill her and there for dash the hopes of the rebels.

I don’t think Peeta will die he is one of the main characters and he is part of the book itself. Gale on the other hand is not a main charcter. He can die…but I hp e they both live. GO TEAM PEETA!!!

Yeah, I agree with Katniss Everdeen. I am starting to really think Peeta is going to be killed by the capitol. President Snow is evil and will want him dead. I think that happy endings are too much of a cliche for this series.
