Toss Up Tuesday! Holiday Season!
For this Toss Up I wanted to mostly wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Season! Also to implore any readers to find a way to help others in one way or another. I have listed a few great sites which help you to help others. Even if you can’t financially help others, even a simple act of kindness is worth just as much. Opening a door, letting an older couple ahead of you in a line, or even just saying how much you appreciate your family and friends; sets the basis for a more evolved society. So, see what happens! People can still surprise you.

How do you think Katniss and the rest of her family would be celebrating the holidays? What would Gale or Peeta have gotten Katniss? Or Katniss for them? Do you think Haymitch would celebrate with them?

Hmm…i think as of right now they’d be trying to get everything thats gone on figured out. But most of all they’d all just spend time together… maybe eating some stew….and i think theyd have to drag haymitch over and he’d be misserable the whole time but secretly enjoying it;) Maybe gale might try to show katniss hoe much he does love her….

i think that Katniss’s family wouldn’t exchange girts but have a nice dinner where they would actualy get full (before the hunger games) but after the games they still wouldn’t do much, i think Prim would make presents for about every human being that she ever saw. i think that Peeta would buy her something really expencive but gale would make something so it would be cheeper but mean more. i don’t think Katniss would get THEM anything i think she would get something cute for prim but that would be about it. i think that Prim would kinda MAKE Haymitch join them because she wouldn’t want him sleeping in his kitchen finding more excuses to get drunk so he would, like Katniss, only show up to make Prim happy….

I think Katniss will try and celebrate the Holidays by decorating and making a good dinner. But she’d still be serious and cautious because of the things happening. It would probably be Peeta’s family, Haymitch, her family and Gale’s.
Gale would get Katniss a ring. End of story. Team Gale forever, people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Gale and Peeta would both be trying to prove how much they love her. Peeta would get her something expensive, but I think Gale would just kiss her. And yeah, Prim and katniss would probably make Haymitch join them, but I think he’d secretly enjoy it, eve though he’d be acting miserable. And finally, I believe that they would just have a nice dinner without presents, but prim would go stir crazy making everyone presents. In fact, this should be part of the books, this would be entertaining to watch!
it would start out as a happy day til Gale and Peeta and hymitch were all together and Gale kissed her. and Peeta. . . ? that would be weird.
no presents, and book 3 should end with Christmas. It’s after all the best time of the year.
i think peeta would get katniss a nice prezent like a cool new bow. and i think haymitch would be invited…. if he came he would be drunk though. another thing to think about is what holiday they celebrate.i think many asume that they are catholic. do they have a religion????? mabye its one we havnt heard of orrr…. mabye there is diversity.
come to think of it, wouldn’t gale be working in the mines? even on christmas?
sad day. they cannot be celebrating without Gale, end of story.
