Question Wednesday!

Do you think Gale’s tendency to act impulsively is a pro or a con?

How could his actions in Book Three hurt or save Katniss or Peeta?

Soon this Topic will be taken over by Jess!  Hope you guys like the new image!

Hmm… I think that it’s some what of both a good and a bad thing. His actions shape him as him, and no matter how bad of a situation it gets them in. I love him for him :)

But then again, I don’t know how it will hurt them. I honestly think that maybe it will help them instead…

I think in the end, his impulsive decisions may be a con for him, meaning I feel like he may end up getting himself killed saving Katniss, or even Peeta, or both!

In some respects he’s not compulsive at all. I mean, he held back and didn’t tell Katniss his feeling for awhile, or at least I suspect. I think he’s loved Katniss for a really long time but probably held back so things wouldn’t be awkward and I don’t think he could ever bare being away from her for to long. I think part of his absense was so he could figure things out. I think his impulsiveness may hurt him at times but I think he’s only impulsive in his convictions and passions. So, if a bullet were heading towards Katniss, yeah, he’d block it. But he may do something rash also to go against the capitol which may in the end, hurt Katniss. But ya gotta love the guy.

I think that’s a question best left answered by suzanne collins herself.

His way of acting is just Gale, it is both good and bad. iF he didnt do it like that then he wouldnt be Gale. But they might get Katniss and Peeta in serious trouble in the third book because he, like many teenage boys, doesnt use his brain.
