This would have encouraged her even more to win the games for her district. I for one would not like this ending because it seems like Katniss would just be another games champion instead of the leader of a unsupeting rebel. Plus I agree with Ashley the book needs peeta for a love triangle thing. Makes it a little more captivating. I probably would have stopped reading the series. (Actually, that's a lie. I still would've wanted to find out what ended up happening to Katniss.)
