Looking for Staff

Jabberjays.com is now looking for new staff members!

We need:

Forum Manager

(pending applicant)

  • Someone that likes forums!
  • someone that will be fun and interactive with members; but courteous when a issue may arise.
  • Someone that will find time to create topics and look over the forum pages. (1 hour a week, at least)
  • Experience with running a forum or livejournal is preferred but not need.

Fan Video Posts

  • A weekly Video with your reaction to it.
  • Experience with WordPress would be a plus.  Not required ; quick learners would be helpful.

FanFiction Sugestion Posts

(Pending Applicant)

  • A weekly pick with a description for FanFiction.
  • Experience with WordPress would be a plus.  Not required ; quick learners would be helpful.

Foreign Corespondent(s)
(German Applicant pending) Multi Applications Needed!

  • Someone that can give other countries news and dates relevant to their country.  Ideally, I would like to have as many as needed for larger countries.  (I may be able to translate to an extent.  for example: first section of post in the persons native tongue and second section translated in English.
  • If this gets VERY active, I will dedicate a second Hunger Games site to just foreign news!  (I haven’t really seen a site like that before(But just found this one, hunger-games.net ), but I (still) think it could be very exciting to have so much unity and information in one place with translations.)

    I’m interested in either the Forum Manager or FanFiction Suggestion Posts.
    I started reading the Hunger Games back in 2008 and have been hooked since.

    I am an active member of fanfiction.net and read some of the better FanFictions on that site.

    I’d love to be a staff member because I have experience with forums in the Twilight fandom and am always on the look for good fanfictions.

    I don’t have any experience with WordPress, but I can learn quickly.

    It’d would be great if I was considered for on of these positions.

    Hi This is Paige Wall from above.
    I am interested in The Fan Video post. Recently I recieved a laptop for christmas , Webcam included. And I have been glued to it ever since. Also I love the Hunger Games, I even have some book review videos up already on my youtube ( TheOnePaigeWallace) about my love for the Hunger Games. I would be really dedicated to the site , and have been ever since I joined two weeks ago. I recently downloaded some video making software that so far is Awesome. I don’t know what wordpress is now but I can find out quickly and I am a speedy learner. Lastly I honestly an truly love the Hunger Games ( seriously at school I never stop talking about it), It is my number 1 followed by Siddharta( Herman Heese), Gladiatrix( Robert Whifield), then Naked(Ayana Bryd). :)
