Definitely. Unless Annie dies, then he might go insane breifly, but I think he’s a good guy.
Team Peeta!
I think Finnick can turn out to be a true ally for Katniss!
I have a good feeling about him.. and we also have to remember that if it wasn’t for Finnick, Peeta would have died in the second book.
He just might become a real hero in the third book!

He’s amazing and I believe he’ll willingly die for Katniss if need be. He’d proven himself a lot so far and I think they’ll be good friends in the futer. I think if they put Annie in front of him however, things might go badly though he has shown a little more constraint than Katniss has so far. I think he’d do better than if they dangled Peeta in front of Katniss.

Finnick . . . I really think he will be a good ally to Katniss (as if he hasn’t been ALREADY!), and the only way he will betray her is on account of Annie. If the Capitol were to threaten him with her, I believe Finnick would say something to Katniss like, “You understand, don’t you? You would do the same for Peeta, wouldn’t you?” And Katniss, though she would be sad and angry, would only nod right before Finnick left on his way to ally with the Capitol . . .
Or something. (That’s the way my fan fic-addled brain works.)
Finnick surprised me. As soon as he entered the games it was like that guise of being a flirt was ripped away and you saw this decent human being. I love him now.
While I’m pretty mad at Haymitch by the end of the book for leaving Peeta behind (and essentially playing Katniss–I know it was necessary but I’m still mad about it), I don’t feel any of that resentment for Finnick.
