Mitchell Hewer would be a great Peeta, I think . . . But it would be weird to have Kaya and Mitchell together . . . I did picture him as Peeta though as I read the book . . . And when I read that Kaya got the script, I thought she would be a good Katniss . . . Hmm . . . Does anyone know when the cast will be announced?

I totally agree with Matt Lanter! I looked him up after reading your post and he is as close to perfect as I think we are gonna get. If he were to dye his hair blonde, he has the stockier build that would be required to play a bakers son/wrestler, but he still has a soft face that would give him the innocent look needed to play Peeta. He is a great choice!

I think the perfect Peeta would definitely be Cody Linely, he played Jake Ryan in Hannah Montana. Hes a cutie, and would be perfect for the part, while i was reading the books i imagined Peeta To be him, but Lucas Till would also be good.
