They can’t leave Rue’s death out. Not one not should be unsung. They can get rid of those days when Katniss is doing nothing. I sound like the Capitol, but no one wants to watch someone do nothing. Part of me wants them to add some moments we don’t see with Peeta. Like his epic fight will Cato that leaves him on the brink of death.

I think that they should cut out the parts at the Hob because they aren’t significant. They should show parts in the past like katniss’s father’s death and Gale and Katniss meeting.

Yes, they should definitely show Gale & Katniss meeting, also her father’s death, yes. I really don’t think they should leave ANYTHING out at all because the book is so good! XD

They should not leave anything out of the movie because i don’t want to miss anything it all seems so important to me.

I would leave out the part before the reaping. I would be sure to include the part where katniss is on fire.

If they dont put katniss on fire then there is no girl on fire!

One thing I forgot to say was that they should put Gale and Katniss’s kiss in the first movie because if they don’t , the flashbacks in Catching Fire will be confusing.

I don’t think they should put the kiss in till the second book it made sense in the book it will in the movie. they should put the time in the cave when peeta is telling about their first day of school

Well I don’t think any particular person should be left out. I feel like, even if they’re a very small part, they’re all quite significant in some way. As far as parts to leave out vs not leave out – I agree with the first one, they cannot leave Rue’s death out, or the little ceremony that Katniss gives her. It’s too important. I think showing Gale and Katniss hunting in the beginning is important as well…and Peeta throwing the bread to Katniss as a flashback. I think parts they could potentially leave out would be some of the training and perhaps instead of focusing on Katniss when it’s not a significant point in the games, focusing to some other tribute.

Hmmm… To be honest I haven’t really thought about that. I don’t really know what they could leave out…but I definitely think they can’t leave out Rue’s death, or the wolves… and most of the book, Lol.

I think if they HAVE to leave out ANYONE, it should maybe be at the beginning of the book, when Gale and Katniss go and visit Madge. It’s not that important to the story, but Madge is an important character because she gives Katniss the pin. I’m not sure. I hope they don’t leave out anything good!

I don’t think they should leave out the visit with Madge. I think she will have a much bigger role in the 3rd book. In order for her to have such a part, more detail on her character and personality is needed. Everything in the novel, even the small details, is important to the story line. If they weren’t, then why would they be there in the first place? In order for the movie to be a hit, it needs to be understood by all viewers, even the ones who never read the books. So the movie shouldn’t leave out anything.

they should include he part with her eating with cinna. it helps seperate capitol life and the districts, when she’s talking about all that work she would do for such a poor subsitution of food.

They can’t leave out Rue’s death ! And they have to put in Katniss hunting with Gale, Katniss’ father’s death, and also Peeta and Katniss’ kiss. I really don’t want them to leave out anything for the movie because everything i so good !

i think they should leave out… NOTHING and certainly not the juicy parts…and katta i believe the movie is comming out sometime in 2011… hopefully earlier if we get these characters voted on…
