Taylor Momsen To Play Katniss??? FALSE!
Taylor Momsen
(born July 26, 1993) an American actress, musician, and model. She portrays the character Jenny Humphrey on The CW television series Gossip Girl. She is also known for her role as Cindy Lou Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas.
This rumor hit the internet in the last few days but I have not received or seen any conformation from Lionsgate. So far only gossip sites that follow the Gossip Girl star have the information on this one. It seems there was a press release from MTV but the article has since been taken down. This raises some eyebrows… We will keep you posted and want to know what you think.

Taylor Momsen wasn’t cast. It was an April Fools joke. The link to the “press release” was a bad link that automatically directed to MTV’s main site.

Thank GOD that was a false rumor. Unless she would go back to her ways of being Cindy Lou Who like…then I would majorly vote no. Plus, she’s too alabaster.

She totaly doesn’t look like a Katniss to me. I still stick with my IDEA about the cast being unknown actors. They should go somewhere and cast from the people, and maybe some known actors.

I am so relieved that this is an April fools joke cause when I thought she was I started to freak out. Litterally. Anyways, if she was going to play Katniss the whole movie would be screwed.
i could see her as katniss if she had dark brown or black hair, but she is still super pretty even though she aint going to be katniss
