Devon Bostick as Gale

“Besides, if he wants kids, Gale won’t have any trouble finding a wife. He’s good-looking, he’s strong enough to handle the work in the mines, and he can hunt.” pg. 10

(born November 13, 1991) is a Canadian actor who has the lead role in the Atom Egoyan-directed film Adoration.   Recent roles included The Poet, a World War II drama starring Roy Scheider and Colm Feore, Saw VI as Brent and Assassin’s Creed: Lineage as Ezio Auditore.  He also plays Erica’s deceased brother Leo in CBC’S Being Erica. He will play Rodrick in the upcoming film Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

Finally a descent Gale!  I really like his voice as well, in the trailer to Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

    Not bad! I kind of liked the idea of Kevin Zegers as Gale, but Im thinking im starting to like Devon better. =] I think Kevin might be too old anyway.

    omg this is the BEST choice for gale. he just has to play gale in the movie. i’m a really big devon bostick fan and it’s awesome that someone chose for this. and he really fits the description with the dark hair and olive skin.

    devon bostick is super hot and would make a great gale!ive watched diary of a wimpy kid like 13 times because of him. Itll make me wish that katniss chose him, though.
