I think that Haymitch will shape up and sober up a little since the rebellion is finally occurring. But not too much i mean come on this is Haymitch we’re talking about lol Even though Haymitch is already a major character I think that he will become an even more important character in this book. Maybe we will get a glimpse at Haymitch’s past and when he actually started drinking, I want to learn more about Haymitch. Although Haymitch is a great character i do think something will happen to Haymitch. An injury perhaps or maybe he will take Peeta’s place in the Capitol, knowing that he promised Katniss he’d keep Peeta safe the 2nd time in the arena and since Peeta’s in captivity, he failed that promise to her.

I still want the normal Haymitch but I do want to see him change from all time drunk to all time war leader. I still want him to have his strange but funny atitude. I just hope he doesn’t become a shadow in the background.That would so totaly make me depressed if it happened, I like Haymitch. He could pobably through some cool parties.

Don’t take me wrong from the last line, but doesn’t he sound like a guy who could party if he wasn’t drunk all the time.

To be honest, I think he’s gonna be the one that dies in this book. I mean, think about. Everyone’s predicting someone will die, and I think it’s gonna be Haymitch.

I think Haymitch will stay a drunk, but will still be a valuable person in the story.

I think there is a secret involving the rebellion and his past.

@Suzanne collins should be president.. i agree, i’m betting it will be between those two and katniss… i dont know if haymitch will die… either way that wont be the main focus.. we will just have to wait and see!

I think that Haymitch will somewhat shape up. However, I still think that the rebellion has something to do with his past. aAlso, he will die to keep his promise and keep Peeta alive.

I think he will die. He’s just the kind of character who needs to die. I mean, he’s all rough and harsh and pessimistic….. I think he’s gonna sacrifice himself for Katniss.

Ya know what? I don’t really know what to think because the author usually makes us look one way and pulls something out of her sleeve while we aren’t looking. I’m suspecting that Haysmitch will die for one of the two just like a lot of people. But I’m thinking that the author will make a twist that no one will guess.

i thik haymitch will shape up. but i also think his hiding something that has to do with the rebellion…somethink also makes me think his going to die(poor of him)…:(

Since Haymitch always is so sad, I think (even though it hurts me) that it will be best for him to die. And I think Katniss will sits beside him when he does.
