I think he will be beaten up on, weak, and mentally ill. Just a guess. He’ll probably also have lost the will to survive, because he probably thinks Katniss is dead. Either way…I hope he’s not dead, though I do think Gale is better for Katniss.

I think that Peeta will be pretty bad beaten up and he probably will think that Katniss is dead. I hope he doesn’t die I think that Katniss needs him to talk for the cameras and get the people’s atention.

I think Peeta will be beaten up. He may think Katniss is dead and purposely provoke Snow and the other Capitol people as his own weird way of suicide. In other words, Peeta’s a goner! Sorry Peeta-lovers.

I honestly think that Peeta will not really be ‘beaten up’. In my opinion, Peeta will actually be well taken care of in terms of food, clothes, etc., etc. In terms of mental conditions, I think that he will be down to his last breath. They will tell him Katniss is dead, and tear away at his mind. Slowly. . I love Peeta, but you can’t be captured by the capitol, and not be hurt.

Well in my opinion, Peeta will definitely b hurt in some way or another I mean it’s the Capitol after all. But Suzanne Collins already has Katniss believing and some of us believing that Peeta doesn’t have much of a chance, if she were to just go and cut him off and be destroyed by the Capitol, it would b boring since it’s already what the main character thinks will happen. She doesn’t want her story to b predictable and dull, so I think Peeta will be rescued, but with someone else being harmed in Peeta’s place. Kind of a bittersweet moment.

Well, I honestly think that Peeta is going to be beaten up by the capital (poor peeta …) In terms of mental conditions, i think his going to try figure out whether to die or to fight against the capital. He would fight to get revenge on Katniss, cause he may think shes dead. I know peeta is smart, and I also think his going to figure out that Katniss is save and trying to save him

I think he’ll either be physically abused or mentally tortured or minipulated. I think in actuality, Peeta is a fragile sort of person. He’s very protective of his mind. He doesn’t want to be redused to something he can’t stand, he doesn’t want to be a toy for the Capitol. But I think that may show the potential for him to be changed. He doesn’t want that to happen but he’s vulnrable. He’s sort of artsy and emotionally involved in most matters of his life. He makes distinct emotional attatchments to things. Especially people.

So what if he doesn’t have Katniss? He’s pretty much lost. I think he’ll initially be beaten but they’ll focus more and more on his mind. Eventually I think they’ll be using him as a public tool but they’ll also use him to draw out the rebels and put them in danger. By the time Katniss gets to him, I’m not even sure he’ll rember that he loved her the way he did.

I think that Peeta will be okay. He will be hurt, due to torture by the evil capitol, but will be persistant in trying to get away. He will secretly be in contact with the others, hopefully in distect 13. He will be okay because he will be able to contact, or at least hear, Katniss. If anyone has read “Down Will Come Baby” on fanfiction.net, I think there will be an operation like Operation HAWKS AKA Operation How About We Kill Snow.

I think it will be down to Peeta’s last few breaths… But I think that Suzanne Collins can’t kill him. I mean, she would loose so many fans and so many people would be angry! I think Katniss will choose Gale cuz he is so… right for her. Personally I would choose Peeta so I feel bad about that lol but I think Peeta will be really depressed cuz she choose Gale… ButI think if they do go to District 13 he will come cuz Katniss will beg him 2.

I think more then anything, Peeta will be suffering mentally rather then physically. None of the other tributes did anything to him before he was captured, and I don’t see the Capitol doing something to physically harm him. They like to play mind games, so I think that’s what they’ll do. I have a feeling they’d lead him to believe Katniss is either dead…or their mind games would provoke him to turn against the world he knew before re-entering the games. I hate Gale (and I actually mean hate). So I hope that Peeta comes out of all of it…alive…and Katniss is the one that brings him back to the “rebellion” side. Though, I’d be the rebellion too.

Contrary to all of your beliefs i think Peeta will be in top physical condition, well taken care of by the capital. and will be manipulated by the capitol to work for them and he will speak out against the Resistance.

ITHINK PEETA WILL BE HURT AND WEEK BUT MENTALLY WORSE THINKING MAYBE THAT KATNISS IS DEAD AND TRY TO KILL HIM SELF WHICH IS REALLY SAD POOR PEETA NOT THAT I DONT LIKE GALE ITS JUST THAT PEETAS BETTER POOR PEETA.

i think he will be fit and well. may be he will be working as a spy for the capitol but really be on katniss’s side. i think mentally he will be a littlebrokenn but put together.

i think he loses the will to live cause he thinks Katniss is dead and hes prob beaten up cause they toutred him for infoo on the escape he didnt have
