No. I would love that but…. I really think Mockingjay is it. I’m pretty sure that S.C. based her trilogy on Dante’s the Divine Comedy, and even if the follow up WASN’T part of the trilogy it was mess that up. I would love a follow up, but I don’t think it would happen.

Hmm, I’ve never really thought of that before. But I honestly don’t think she will. If a book is done, it’s done. But authors have their own ideas for things, so who knows !

All the series I love I always want follow ups…but I dont think she will after Mockingjay…i’d love to see it but I dont think it’ll happen:( But I guess you never knoww

lol just posted this last week. Weird.I found a new rue character too! Wxcept for some reason I’ve always thought of olive skin like Katniss. (Yes I know this is COMPLETLY out of no where.) Umm… but now tht I think about my question, SC doesn’t seem like that type of author. Unless for some reason WAY into the future she decides to.

I actually think she might, because with a story that has a background as large as this one, there is SO much to write about. There are a billion things she could write about, and if she does a follow-up, I honestly think it would take place before katniss` story. It would perhaps be far before her time, etc. I would be so thrilled if she did any kind of follow-up though.

I dont think so, but we can hope. i have some suggestions for the movie. While me and my friend were talking we concluded that: Effie should be played by Katy Perry with a pink wig on,the Princess from the Last Airbender or Ashley Greene should play Katniss, Alex Petyffer should play Peeta, and that Lady Gaga’s futuristic style should be incorporated into the clothes of the Capitol people. From what I have heard about the third book, it seems to me that this is the last and final book. I think she is a great author but in my own opinion, it should be the last book of the hunger games series.But to make the story live on, tell others about this book so that others can enjoy it.

I honestly don’t think that she will, though I wish she would. There is a TON of stuff she could write another book on, but I really doubt she will write other Panem tales.

I honestly don’t see these stories sort of going outward like Lord of the Rings or Twilight even. They’re fairly simple books with fantastic twists and characters you grow to love. I’m not sure we’re supposed to know that much about the past. It’s more the present situation that matters and it’s more the present situation that is bringing up the issues that Collin’s would like to present. Even though we’d love to see mini Katnisses and get into Haymitch’s past, I think we’ll just have to leave it to the imagination.

I really really hope she does! I love these books and I’m obsessed… ah… If she does i’ll be really happy but um….. If the third book reveals all my burning questions then i’ll be fine but if she leaves me hanging once again she’ll have too or i’ll protest!!! lol
