I agree. Of course, essentially the film will be shot with Katniss’s POV, but with little snippets showing how everyone else reacts to watching the Hunger Games.

yes, i think they will put some from Panems POV. i have some suggestions for the movie that i already posted, but i wanted to hear what others thought since none sed anything. While me and my friend were talking we concluded that: Effie should be played by Katy Perry with a pink wig on,the Princess from the Last Airbender or Ashley Greene should play Katniss, Alex Petyffer should play Peeta, and that Lady Gaga’s futuristic style should be incorporated into the clothes of the Capitol people. READ MAXIMUM RIDE, ITS JUST AS GOOD!

katy perry definately, I think ashley greene’s WAAAY to old, even for holywood. Possibly the last airbender princess (seuchelle gabriel) Definately Alex P for peeta, and maybe a bit of lady gaga’s style. That would be funny!

As long as they dont leave things out from the book i’ll be cool with it! But if it takes up too much time and they leave things out i’ll be annoyed.

Love it! I want the movie to start out with all the main characters POV like katniss(no duh), Gale, Prim, Peeta, Mrs. E., Haymitch, Effie, Madge, and all the other important people! then I think it would be cool if they switched on and off between the charcters POV and the hunger games (as in the veiwers in Panem) like a Tv show. EXTRA: I agree with all the maximum Ride lovers! Read it! Thats how I got into HG. *Cough* HG is still wayy better though. *Cough* No offense James P. *Cough*

I think the whole point of the book is that you only see what Katniss is thinking, so I don’t really like the idea of having separate POVs, but since the movie is an entirely different identity, it might work. I will wait till I see the movie to pass my judgment :/

DEFINITLEY. Have you ever heard of the word ‘cinematic’? Because that’s exactly why I saw definitley.
This idea works better on screen, and will make the whole movie much more dramatic, if they do switch POVS. It’s one of those things you can pull off in a movie, but not a book.
Like, in a movie, we’ll probably get tired of seeing Katniss’s face constantly. In the book, we see things as she sees them, through her eyes.

i think that for the movie this is essential. we need to see katniss`s family and gale and the capitol watching it could be just a few glipmses but its needed.

I love Katniss, but seeing the actual games being played in the view of the Panem citizens would be great. Seeing Katniss’s mom and Prim watch it. Seeing Gale watch it. The President. The Capitol. IT would give a nice view of what everyone else is seeing and how they react to it other than just seein Katniss.
No offense to her, though. See rocks. Poor girl.
