The careers grew up training for the games, knowing they would volunteer when ready, Is it possible that Katniss was trained by her father? knowing she was destined for the games…

  Did Effie draw Prim’s name knowing Katniss would volunteer to take her place?  Could Effie be in on it?

Is it possible that Gale and Katniss are twins? That they were separated at birth because:
 The chance of a pair of twins from one family being chosen for the games was too dreadful to contemplate so the twins were split, with Katniss going to the Everdeens as they were, at that point, childless.

What do you think was the saddest part of this book series so far?

Mine was when Katniss took her sisters place as a tribute, that was so heartbreaking but sweet.
