First, let me say that putting this site together has been and continues to be a labor of love. If you’re here, you have most likely started reading the book series by Suzanne Collins, Hunger Games.

So far the staff consists of Anna(head webmaster)  Jess, and Tanvi.   We are your jabberjays!

Some people might ask why Anna chose jabberjays for the site name.  Here is a snippet from the novel The Hunger Games…

“During the rebellion, the Capitol bred a series of genetically altered animals as weapons. The common term for them was muttations, or sometimes mutts for short.  One was a special bird called a jabberjay that had the ability to memorize and repeat whole human conversations.”

Get it? We’re repeating Hunger Games info! Awesome, I know; we’re just like that.  Now I know some of you might think that they symbolize the Capitol and all their evil.   But lets just hope that we don’t get too in depth…  anyway it dose sound pretty sweet.

The Jabberjays.com domain was obtained October 21st, 2008 and was switched over to wordpress format summer of 2009.
