There are many ways to get GREEN, but how much do you do to help?  Sure you can make your excuses!  However, getting GREEN is a matter of more than just changing a few light bulbs and recycling alone!

Did you know eating locally grown foods taste better and eliminates the amount of fossil fuels used to get the food to your table?  Did you know that we import more fruits and vegetables then we export?    How about all the paper and plastic used to go along with your burger and fries?  Do you know how many trees die for the sake of your toilet paper?  In my house hold, for every bag of garbage we recycle three bags.  If your not sure if something is recyclable, recycle it!  Plastic, paper, soup cans, jello cups, soda cans!  All and many more are recyclable!  Car pool with friends! It’s more fun and saves on gas!  As much as I love to have a book in my hand, beg your parents for an E- Reader!

We care greatly about our environment here at Jabberjays.com, that is why we will be asking you to donate here on the site.  Every January and June we will donate to an organization that you vote on!  That is right, you guys get to pick!  Vote below!
