This one is for all the Twilight fans out there.  I had little sleep last night and am now on a silly streak!

IF Katniss Everdeen was in Bella Swan’s shoes, how do you think she would have reacted to Edward?

Excerpt:

I darted over the dark earth and rock and all I could hear was my own breath thrashing in and out of my chest. I wanted to collapse and wail; however, my pursuer would not allow me that relief.

The ground gave way to the current that belonged to a river, a river that desired nothing more than to pull me under like a kelpie. As I found purchase on the other side, I looked over my shoulder. Behind me was a great black wolf, standing at the ready. He looked me in the eye, then let out a low growl before diving into the water after me.

“Red.” it called to me. “Red.” It’s voice was all around me, as if spoken by an abundance of  men.

Falling to the ground I felt something wrap around my legs. “Stop!” I fought the monster’s pull.

“Red, stop it.” I thrashed as tears started to brim in my eyes, lashes locked and shut tight. Then I just stopped, giving myself up for a merciful death…

How high readers will ascend with this trilogy, won’t be revealed until THE VICTORS is released in 2010, but my guess is it will be written straight from the heart.

Not sure how ligitament this is or if it’s just the working title; But it still gets me excited!  Find the rest here.

So I pay for this site out of my own pocket, post updates, photoshop images, build the site, updated and make videos for girlsforbooks on youtube, run the shop, (this list could go on forever!), etc…  From time to time I just have to send out a shameless plug!

So, I’m a huge reader and when I say I read alot of books; it’s no lie. I watched the first season of True Blood on HBO and was like “Huh, I like vampires.   Maybe, I’ll read the books.”   Seven months later I did just that.   Now, if you are no fan of sex and/or violence (or way to young) then this series is not for you.   But I really like them!  I have a couple of post about it on my blog (see to your right), in which I talk about my life and books I am trying to work on.  Also, I have entered two of my fanvids into a youtube contest hosted by Raggdollish.  If you would like to check them out, I have post them.  THEY ARE FULL OF SPOILERS if your are interested in the books, so take heed.
