First the update!

The Theme Switcher is back!!

After technical difficulties with the Jabberjays.com Store a few months ago; WE’RE BACK!  Not only will you find HG inspired items but original designs as well!  Within the next few weeks many items will be available; from buttons and sticker to T-shirts and skateboards!  There is something for everyone!

Since the September release of Catching Fire, the second in Suzanne Collins’ best-selling Hunger Games trilogy for teens, Internet speculation has focused on the title of the third book. The most common guess: The Victors. Not even close. Today, Scholastic reveals the title and cover of the last book in the series set in a dictatorship where teens are forced to fight to the death on TV. It’s Mockingjay, out Aug. 24. In the series, mockingjays are offspring of mockingbirds and jabberjays, a government-bred mutant designed to spy on rebels. Mockingjays become symbols of resistance. Collins is finishing her screenplay of The Hunger Games, the first book. Catching Fire entered USA TODAY’s Best-Selling Books list at No. 1.

I Love the Cover!  How about everyone else?

Edit: Also, I know other fansites bet me to this.  I would like you all to look at all of them.  I just got it on my Droid Google Alert about 5 minutes ago so i’m not sure which got to it first. 

With the Twilight saga and the tomes of Harry Potter, it seems like these days Hollywood’s gamble on turning tween novels into movies has paid off. In fact, it is starting to hardly seem like a gamble at all with bastardized versions of Twilight like Vampire Diaries helping to resurrect the likes of the CW. (For the record, Vampire Diaries was written before Twilight.) Well folks, I think I have found it . . . the Next Big Thing – Hunger Games and its sequel, Catching Fire. Now, I’m far from the first person to uncover the magic of these little gems, but I want to go on record with this prophecy. Mark my words, Muggles – in the years to come, this series will become a household name, its story and characters infused into every pore of society, its title on the tip of every tongue.
